However, in its own right, this is still a fun time if you are a Sonic fan Sonic 4 Episode 1 is a good game, but it does little in the way of innovation. Really it is only half a game and I do think that Episode II is far, far better than this. I would not say that Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode I is the best 2D Sonic game ever made, but it is not a bad one at all. The Sonic franchise gets far to much hate for my liking.
